The Organic & Regenerative Community Food Initiative is dedicated to expanding access to fresh, nutrient-dense organic and regeneratively grown foods throughout Arizona. The program evaluates, sources, and develops strategic partnerships with growers, distributors, retailers, and food innovators to build sustainable community-based food distribution models.
Our vision includes creating organic produce bag programs that increase access to healthy foods for individuals, families, schools, community organizations, and underserved populations while supporting regenerative agriculture and local food systems.
Working collaboratively with public, private, nonprofit, and healthcare partners, the initiative seeks opportunities to align with state and federal priorities that promote nutrition, chronic disease prevention, food security, and healthier communities. Strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, producers, and innovative food companies help expand access to high-quality organic and regenerative products across Arizona.
The initiative actively participates in industry conferences, trade shows, and educational forums to evaluate emerging products, identify new suppliers, strengthen purchasing relationships, and advance retail and community distribution opportunities. Through these collaborations, we are building a resilient food ecosystem that supports healthier people, stronger communities, and sustainable agricultural practices for future generations.
